Some Blonde by Richard Donnelly

The Melancholy MBAlike Mary Magdalene she found him
one day in a saloon his suffering
barely touching her
a big girl a great blonde thing big
and tall with great
thighs and hands
she picked him up she
did with those hands
got him out of Sharkey's on Fifth in
Minneapolis
brought him home
at least that's what they told me
others said she was a gold digger
she righted him though
broke his whiskey bottle in the sink
lucky it wasn't over his head
hung up on his friends when
they called
got his job back
calling Tucke Brothers and saying
he'll be in Monday
I heard he's back in his suits and
putting on weight
although he'll never be as big as her
she's a big girl with a big waist
big breasts a big head even
my god can you imagine going to bed
with her
all that blonde hair square white
teeth those big hands
she got him off the cross
with those hands
she resurrected him breathed
life back in when nobody else would
and deserves
as far as I'm concerned
all she can get
